There were celebrations in Ballyheigue this week as St. Josephs National School teacher Terence Dineen and pupils Holly Galloway, Saoirse O’Hanlon, Cai O’Fuarrain, Sam Keane and Max Fitzgerald, Sarah Garcia-Leen and Andrea Lynch were presented with the overall prize in the What’s Your Story video competition for their 2 minute short entitled “I have the power”

The young pupils created the two minute video explaining that they didn’t need any special new technology or super power to make life online better, they have the power to make choices online to do the right thing for themselves and others.

Avril Ronan, Global Programme Manager for Internet Safety at Trend Micro  presented the prize which was judged by such big tech companies as Facebook and Twitter as well as Webwise.ie, Young Irish Film Makers Association and SmartFutures.ie
