Things are going from strength to strength for Killarney native, singer-songwriter, Ronan Kealy or Junior Brother as he might be better know in some circles.

Fresh from releasing his debut album last week Pull The Right Rope which has received rave reviews from the likes of  The Irish Times, Sunday Business Post and Hotpress to name but a few, as if things couldn’t get any more exciting he has just announced that he is to support the legendary Glen Hansard on his US East Coast Dates – Starting today (29th) in Boston, then onto Philadelphia, New York and Washington DC.

This isn’t the first high profile support slot for Ronan as he recently played support to Scottish brothers The Proclaimers in Vicar street and is lined up to support them once again in Cork’s Opera House next September.

Hailing from Kilcummin, Ronan is the brother of former Kerry Goalkeeper Brendan Kealy and his parents Liam and Bridget would be very well known in the Killarney area.

Pull The Right Rope is out now to buy and is also streaming on both Spotify and Apple Music.
