With the world paying tribute to Prince over the weekend following news of his sad passing on Thursday, the organisers of Killorglin’s K-Fest music and Arts Festival took some time out of their busy schedule to pay tribute to one of the world’s most influential musicians.

The team turned the town’s famous statue from it’s original bronze to a glowing purple as a tribute to Prince. It was just one of many powerful tributes paid to the famous singer including a performance of Purple Rain by Bruce Springsteen.
