“One for the Ladies” is coming to Kerry for the first time following huge success in West Cork!
“One for the Ladies” is a brand new, rare golf experience – that allows the ladies to work on their short game, learn how to train their body to train their golf swing, and explore the mental aspect of the game introducing new ways to build and maintain confidence on the course.
This is only the second time this programme has been offered in Ireland and was set up initially to meet a demand. There is a lot of energy put into attracting women into the sport of golf with the very successful “get into golf programme.” But for the golfers who have been around for few years and looking for new ways to improve their game there is very little for them. This day will see three professional women join together to tackle three distinct areas of the golf game in order to improve golfing performance.
The day will take place on the 10th June 2019 at the Castlerosse Park Resort. Golfers will be split into groups of 6 with each group spending a hour with each expert. Sarah Claridge, PGA Fellow Professional, with 25 years of coaching experience will work on the short game. Shining a spotlight on the importance of physical conditioning, TPI golf fitness professional Trish Daly will also highlight the benefits of yoga to help your game. Finally, from a sport psychology perspective, local lady Deirdre Gallagher will explore the mental aspect of golf.
The day will run from 8:45am until 5pm at a cost of €115 (€95 for members of Castlerosse). The package includes: 3 x 60minute morning session with each expert, refreshments and lunch. The day concludes with a nine hole scramble during which Sarah Trish and Deirdre will walk with each group helping the ladies put into practice what they learned earlier.
