Barbeque season will sizzle into action this June Bank Holiday Monday, as the team at Scotts Hotel, along with Denis Geaney’s Ring of Kerry Cycle Group, fire up the charcoal in aid of St Mary of the Angels.

Denis, founder of the Ring of Kerry Cycle, has once again mobilized a group of cyclists for the famous charity cycle. And as part of their preparations, Denis and Team Geaney are hosting a fantastic fundraising afternoon of food and live entertainment.

The barbeque costs €10 per person, and all monies raised on the day will be donated to St Mary of the Angels in Beaufort. It takes place in Scotts Courtyard from 2pm until 6pm on Monday, June 3. With live music from Rosie and Derry Healy, Dermot Moriarty, Pete Fleming, Michael O’Brien and band, Sam and Ina and more, as well as a special guest appearance by Bernard Casey, it promises to be a great day out for all the family.

Organiser Denis Geaney said, “All of the money raised from the barbeque will go directly to St Mary of the Angels, that’s thanks to the generous support of the team at Scotts Hotel, all the musicians and our many volunteers. We looking forward to seeing you there.”
